The state of Queensland is situated northeast of Australia with its land mass being the second biggest in the country and covers an expanse of 1722 000 square kilometers. Brisbane is the states capital and is the fastest growing region in Australia. Bordering Queensland is 4 diverse waterways, each has its own characteristics but combined makes up the tourism Mecca of Queensland.
Queensland has long lived in the shadows of its larger cousins Sydney and Melbourne. However with these two cities facing increasing congestion and declining standards of living, Australia is turning to Queensland for a better way of life. Known for its beautiful climate, friendly people and its increasing contributions to the Australian economy, Queensland is showing the rest of Australia that it too is becoming an internationally recognized region.

Maroochydore is the economic epicenter for the Sunshine Coast which has all the leading corporate giants in Australia lining up to become part of this growing region.
The Coastline of the Great Barrier Reef runs parallel to the coast of Queensland stretching 2000kms and is included in the 7 natural wonders of the world and heritage listed by the Australian Government and by the World Heritage Trust which has set up management (Great Barrier Reef Marine Authority) to oversee its original and pristine status remains in tact.
